A number of Leeds United supporters have hit out at the cub’s decision to increase season ticket prices for the 2023/24 campaign.
The Lowdown: 10% rise
Phil Hay took to Twitter on Monday to relay an update from Elland Road regarding season ticket renewals.
He said that prices for general admission season tickets will increase by 10% for the 2023/24 season, however, that will be refunded should the Whites suffer relegation. There are thought to be just short of 22,000 fans on the waiting list, Hay added.

The Verdict: Relegation ‘impossible’
Javi Gracia has plenty of work to do if he is to guide Leeds to safety this season, with the Whites currently averaging less than a point a game.
Andrea Radrizzani looks silly after he said in the summer that he sees relegation as ‘impossible’. It looks like a real possibility right now, and the club have even factored relegation into their prices by giving a 10% increase back should Leeds drop back down to the Championship.
You can see why fans are upset, though, especially after there was a 10% increase last year for the current campaign, with fans not exactly having much to shout about on the pitch following Marcelo Bielsa’s departure.
