Some Leeds fans are already sick of this season and it hasn’t even started yet. The club has been linked with a whole host of players and other than the loan signing of Lewis Baker, most have failed to materialise. However, after missing out on both Angus Gunn and David Stockdale, the Whites could be set to Jamal Blackman on loan from Chelsea, according to The Yorkshire Evening Post.

When it became apparent that The Whites wouldn’t be signing David Stockdale a lot of the Elland Road faithful were happy to see the club promote Bailey Peacock-Farrell to number one and make Kamil Miazek the club’s second choice shot-stopper. However, the club have now been negotiating for a second Chelsea player to sign for the Yorkshire club with Jamal Blackman looking set to join Chelsea teammate, Baker at Elland Road.
The fans are really unsure about this one though. None of them are doubting the talent of Blackman, but the fact that he’s being signed as the third goalkeeper the club has looked at says a lot for how their summer has been going so far. The fans can’t work out how even with a coach like Marcelo Bielsa they keep managing to let negotiations fall through. Things will have to pick up big time if they’re to have a successful season.

I don't understand why we aren't going for a more experienced keeper. Is he any better than BPF?

From this, it’s clear to see that the Leeds fans aren’t having the summer they all thought they would be having.
