Usually, when the FA Cup 3rd round draw comes around you’ve got fans of clubs all over the country getting excited for who they’ll be facing. However, Leeds United supporters couldn’t be less interested. The Whites have been drawn to face QPR at Loftus Road in the 3rd round and will be hoping they can be eliminated swiftly and focus on a Championship promotion push.

Leeds will be facing QPR on Saturday in the Championship and it will be interesting to see how that clash with the R’s goes in anticipation of their cup tie against the London side in early January. Marcelo Bielsa already showed what interest the Carabao Cup was to him when they faced Preston North End in the 4th round of the competition back in September as he fielded a number of changes and was eliminated without much fuss.
Now, though, Leeds fans everywhere will just be hoping they’ll have the same outcome against their Championship rivals in the other domestic cup competition. The fans know they won’t be able to win the FA Cup realistically given the strength of the Premier League sides competing, so they’ll just be hoping that they can be out of it in one game, avoiding a replay and future matches as their current schedule is already hectic as it is.

The Whites will be hoping that they can exit the cup hassle free and will be banking on making good on their extra rest to help with their promotion push.
