Leeds fans on Twitter loved Bielsa’s take on the Steve Bruce-cabbage incident

Marcelo Bielsa faced the press yesterday ahead of what promises to be an entertaining clash between Brentford and The Whites at Elland Road and he was asked a rather strange question. on Tuesday night, Steven Bruce had a cabbage thrown at him during Aston Villa’s clash with Preston and Bielsa was asked what he made of it, and his reply was brilliant.

The Argentine claimed that he didn’t see the act of throwing a cabbage at Bruce as being as barbaric as everyone is making out, before adding that this is because we have better habits. The Leeds fans loved Bielsa’s response and all saw the funny side in what he was saying, just giving them yet another reason to fawn over their gaffer who has brought them so much joy since his appointment.

It’s fair to say we can’t see anything being thrown at Bielsa in the near or distant future with the way things are going and if he can win against Brentford tomorrow then that will only enhance his already glowing reputation with the supporters. El Loco continues to impress, surprise and please the Whites and as long as he’s at the club it’s hard to see the Leeds fans finding themselves unhappy with the way things are going.
