Many Leeds United fans have shown their appreciation for Patrick Bamford after he netted a hat-trick against Aston Villa last night.
After a 1-0 defeat to Wolves at Elland Road on Monday, Marcelo Bielsa’s side arrived at Villa Park looking to bounce back. However, Bielsa was handed a number of injury concerns ahead of the tie with the likes of Liam Cooper, Diego Llorente and Kalvin Phillips all ruled out.
Despite those absentees, the Yorkshire club proved dominant in the Friday night fixture, having no fewer than 27 attempts on Villa’s goal. Goalless at the break, the Whites’ leading marksman Bamford burst into life with a superb second half performance, netting his first goal in the 55th minute before adding two more afterwards.

I’ve been waiting for Hat-trick Bamford for so long! Villa couldn’t handle him today, even though Mings tried his best! Outstanding Paddy, making this league look easy

Absolutely deserves it. Gets a lot of stick but always been the hardest worker on the pitch. Well done @Patrick_Bamford
