Many Leeds United fans have reacted to a recent report linking Polish defender Michal Karbownik with a summer move to the club.
In Kanale Sportowym’s programme Misja Futbol [via Sport Witness], Polish journalist Tomasz Smokowski broke the news of a potential swoop by Manchester City and their plans to loan him to Leeds.
The report claimed that Karbownik could arrive at Elland Road this summer as Manchester City, having developed a good relationship with Leeds, are willing to fund a deal.
The relationship between City manager Pep Guardiola and Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has been well publicised in recent times, having seen a deal involving Jack Harrison work in favour for both sides as the 23-year-old’s career since joining Leeds on loan has gone from strength to strength.
Whilst a potentially similar deal involving young Brazilian Yan Couto has also been discussed, Karbownik’s name has got plenty of Leeds fans talking:

We will be in the same league as them next season so we wont need to loan young talent off them. The dark days of nurturing other players for their parent clubs are hopefully over
