Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are desperate to see their side get some late luck in the race for the play-off places.
The men from Elland Road have been strong all season and looked, at one point, the club to beat in the battle to finish in the play-offs.
Poor form has struck them at the worse possible time now, though, and so the club need to hope those above them slip up if they are to sneak in.
Whatever happens, though, the club should be pleased that this season has gone well enough and many will be eager to see that Garry Monk signs a new deal with his current one running out in the summer.
It looks as though, too, that Leeds fans will get their wish with The Daily Star reporting that Monk will stay on into 2017/18.
The former Swansea man has done a very good job this season – naturally leading many to worry that he is going to leave – but it does seem as though he’s committed to the Yorkshire side.
