Leeds should plot a move to sign Everton’s Oumar Niasse

Leeds will feel that should they continue this great run of form, promotion will soon follow for them.

Marcelo Bielsa has proven to be an inspired choice as manager now that Leeds sit in the promotion places.

Not many would have quite believed the instant impact the Argentinian coach would have with the Championship side but it’s also testament to how well the players have been performing on the pitch.

Nevertheless, Leeds aren’t perfect and could find it beneficial to delve into the transfer market during the month of January.

With the club becoming more reliant on Kemar Roofe by the game, it would be a good idea to sign a striker like Everton’s Oumar Niasse, to arrive and take the pressure off the number seven.

Niasse, who is valued at £7.2 million on Transfermarkt, is a goal-getter who could prove to be the difference for Leeds this season in their promotion push.

Alongside Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford, Niasse is also a potent goal-source that could provide exactly what the Peacocks need.

Considering Niasse bagged 12 goals in 27 appearances last season for Everton, the treatment of the Senegalese international has been tough this season.

With just 48 minutes on the pitch during the Premier League, the 28-year-old is an outcast now destined for a move away from Goodison Park.

Leeds would surely be delighted to receive such a talented forward, that would take the Championship by storm if given the chance.

It not only takes the pressure off their current options up-front but bolsters their goalscoring potential, which could be essential if they wish to be successful at the end of the season.
