Taking to Twitter, Hay relayed an update made by Leeds assistant head coach Rene Maric following Wednesday night’s friendly with Monaco, admitting that Meslier could make his return vs City.
“Rene Maric speaking post-match. Says there’s been illness in the camp. Rodrigo was suffering from a tight muscle so wasn’t risked. He thinks most of the absentees will be ready to play Man City. Meslier has a chance.”

Leeds having Meslier available for selection again will come as a huge boost to Jesse Marsch, who will know how important his shot-stopper is between the sticks.
