According to a report by Italian outlet Calciomercato, Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa loves Douglas Costa and his 'technical qualities' - with the Whites becoming a 'possible solution' for the Brazilian this summer.

Costa, who has only sporadically featured on loan at Bayern Munich this season, is in all likelihood not going to secure a permanent move to the Allianz Arena according to this report.

Leeds United touted as possible move for Costa

The 30-year-old's future could be decided in the summer as a result, and Calciomercato have now touted Leeds as a potential destination for the winger due to Bielsa's alleged fondness.

They claim that Leeds' interest could become more concrete in the 'coming weeks', a prospect which may delight parent club Juve who wish to sell Costa for at least €11 million (£9.4 million).

Transfer Tavern take

While Bielsa is allegedly wowed by Costa and his ability, it is questionable whether he would be the right move for Leeds given his torrid injury record and lack of game time over this last season (WhoScored).

The 31-cap attacker has started just three games for Bayern since moving on loan from Serie A, but only time will tell whether Leeds' interest does increase over these next few weeks ahead of the summer window.
