Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are looking forward to their side getting business done this summer as they look to mount a promotion challenge.
There can be no doubt that the men from Villa Park need to be getting themselves back in the Premier League as soon as possible and our landlord reckons new players are going to be a must with that cause in mind.
Dr. Tony Xia and Steve Bruce, then, will need to work hard to get players in but it certainly appears as though Xia is ready to see this through no matter how long it takes.
One fan, though, has asked him to do it as quickly as possible – instead of the 20 years he’s said it might take – to which Xia duly responded.
