Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern cannot wait for their season to get going with them looking to their club to earn promotion.
The men from Villa Park had a season of stabilising last time out as Steve Bruce came in to shore things up and now he is the man tasked with returning the club to the Premier League.
Many, though, fancy him to do it – including our landlord – and he’s certainly set to get the backing of Dr. Tony Xia who has shown himself to be a top chairman so far.
