The Newcastle fans in the Transfer Tavern have been keeping a close eye on their club’s Twitter account over the last few weeks as they hope for a signing of some sort to be announced. However, instead, they’ve been lucky enough to see the unveiling of the new training kit for the 2018/19 season, which fans can buy on the Newcastle website.

Whilst football fans all love a new signing, they also a love a new kit. Newcastle fans have been desperate for the club to announce some new incomings to their squad and they’ll be hoping that Mike Ashley will pull his finger out and splash some cash in the coming weeks, however, for now, the fans will have to get by with their latest kit release. The club revealed the new training kit today, modelled by Ghanian international, Christian Atsu.
The new training kit, made by Puma, will hopefully be worn by the likes of Kenedy and Clement Grenier next season, two players who have been closely linked with a move to Newcastle. Until then, the fans will have to make do with what they’ve got. The new training kit and high hopes for the new season Rafa Benitez will be putting together his plan for the new campaign and after last season’s 10th placed finish, hopes will be high for the Magpies.

Whilst the enthusiasm around the fans isn’t what it would be for a new signing, the fans are still pleased with their club’s latest kit release.
