Everyone in the Football Transfer Tavern is waiting for that big name move on transfer deadline day and the Daily Express suggests Barcelona full back Daniel Alves could be a potential candidate for a late switch.
Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City have all been linked with a move for the Brazilian international who will see his contract at the Camp Nou expire at the end of the season.
And whilst his agent Dinorah Santana revealed he would like to stay with Barcelona, there have been offers from Premier League clubs for his services ahead of the transfer deadline.
“He will give his all while he is here, that’s all I can say,” Santana said.
“We’d like to stay but we’ll have to see. He may renew but if he needs to move on he will do.
“Sometimes things come to an end and there has been interest from other clubs.”
The 31-year-old has been in and out of the Barcelona side under Luis Enrique this season and has just 15 La Liga appearances to his name so far this season.
