Liverpool have been enjoying a good season, and one man that has likely surprised most of the Anfield faithful is Xherdan Shaqiri.
Since moving to the club, Shaqiri has really made a name for himself. He did well at Stoke City, but it was a big step up when he moved to Liverpool, and it was unclear as to how he would adjust.
Adjust he most certainly has, though. Despite not starting the season as a regular, he’s already made a name for himself at Anfield.
He’s bagged 2 goals in the league so far, but more impressive has been his overall quality. The Swiss midfielder has been fantastic through the heart of the midfield and out wide, delivering creative and exciting gameplay to help reinvigorate an at-times stale attack.
The Anfield faithful are always a passionate bunch, and Shaqiri is clearly feeling the love.
Fans online, though, have taken that lovee and put it back in his direction. They’ve responded to his comments, and it’s clear that they love him just as much as he loves them.
