Lots of Liverpool fans were left discussing the form of Premier League rival Tanguy Ndombele, after the 23 year-old struggled once again for Tottenham on Saturday.
The Reds were of course linked with Ndombele back in April 2019, but the summer transfer window saw the France international seal a club-record move to north London instead. Since signing for £53.8m though (BBC), Ndombele has started just 11 Premier League matches, and was even criticised by Jose Mourinho for not being fit enough to play back in December.
He was poor once again in Spurs’ 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday afternoon, and with Liverpool out of action until Monday Reds fans took to Twitter to discuss the midfielder. One supporter said the former Lyon ace has been ‘wasted’ at Tottenham, while some even suggested he ‘wouldn’t be a bad addition to Liverpool’.
