Many Liverpool fans were overjoyed about the possibility of the Reds signing Leeds United midfielder Raphinha.
According to France Football (via GFFN), Anfield scouts have been in awe of the 24-year-old and will recommend him to the club’s recruitment team as a summer target.

Raphinha only arrived at Leeds from the Ligue 1 club Stade Rennais last summer in a £16.7m move, and has scored six goals and provided six assists in 25 appearances (TransferMarkt).
With the exception of Mohamed Salah, Liverpool have struggled for goals this season and the creativity has not been on the same level as it has been over the past two campaigns, something that the Brazilian could help address if he was signed.

With this in mind, supporters were delighted with the links and flocked to Anfield Watch on Twitter to make their feelings clear.

“Xherdan Shaqiri has to be sold and I think Raphinha would be a class signing who can actually be a viable replacement for Salah and Mane when they need a breather along with Jota.”

“He’s kind of at the Level Salah was at Roma. Feel he can take that next step with us. Big names are not always the answer. I think Mane and Salah are proof of that.”
