A lot of Liverpool fans have been left wondering what they have to do to get some recognition as Gary Neville has come out and slated the Reds chances of winning the Premier League, saying, on Sky Sports, with text via The Mirror, that he isn’t sure if they’ll be able to keep their nerve in the title race.

A lot of Liverpool fans have been quick to slate Neville and have claimed that he’s only coming out with these comments because he’s a former Manchester United player. However, with his previous comments on Tottenham and then his affiliation with United, there’s no way he wants any of the Reds, Spurs or Manchester City to win the title, and his comments will be purely based on facts.
In the past, Liverpool teams have failed to get over the line in Premier League title races. In the 2008/09 season it was Rafa Benitez’s infamous ‘facts’ press conference that looked to be undoing of them, whilst in the 2013/14 season, Steven Gerrard’s ‘we do not let this slip now’ speech came back to bite them, so whilst they may be getting in a huff over Neville, he’s only pointing out what a lot of people have seen before.

The Reds hate the fact that Neville and other pundits are failing to get behind them and will just be desperate to prove their doubters wrong come May.
