Liverpool fans rave over fantastic Firmino picture from Arsenal thumping

Arsenal were on the wrong end of a spanking on Saturday when a Roberto Firmino-inspired Liverpool tore them to pieces, coming from 1-0 down to win 5-1 at Anfield. Firmino grabbed a treble on the night, and his second goal was a thing of beauty as he left three Arsenal players in the dirt.

The Brazilian was fortunate enough to score one of the easiest goals of his career to level the score at 1-1 at Anfield, but less than 90 seconds later he made it 2-1 in sumptuous style, slaloming past Shkodran Mustafi and Papastathopoulos as Lucas Torreira also fell over his own feet. With the three Arsenal men around him off their feet, Firmino had the easy job of firing past Bernd Leno with his ‘weaker’ left foot.

It was one of those goals that the fans won’t forget for a long time, and when you see the picture of Firmino mid-run with the three Arsenal player on the floor around hi, iot just sums up how special a goal it really was, even if you can credit the Gunners atrocious defending for the fact it went in just as much as you can credit the incredible skill and ability of Liverpool’s Brazilian.
