Liverpool fans are reacting to an ultimate team pieced together by Amazon Prime, consisting of the elite players from the Arsenal Invincibles and this season’s Liverpool side. Arsenal fans are outraged over Jordan Henderson being selected over Gilberto Silva, but many Reds are defending the choice.
The combined starting eleven has caused a lot of debate on Twitter, with many fans arguing over who they feel doesn’t deserve a place. Liverpool skipper Henderson is the topic of a heated debate, with many Gunners supporters unsure why he was selected over invincible Silva.
After Liverpool’s unbeaten Premier League run was thwarted by Watford at the weekend, Arsenal fans are relishing in retaining their ‘invincible’ record. The Reds are still on-track to win the title, but the chance to match the 2003/o4 unbeaten streak has slipped away.
Henderson is currently out of action with a hamstring injury and Liverpool fans are noticing his absence in midfield. The captain has already lifted the Champions League trophy, Super Cup and Club World Cup in the last nine months, with the Premier League title also glittering in the distance.
However, lots of Arsenal supporters are baffled as to why Henderson is part of the combined dream team. Liverpool fans are fighting his corner, with one individual claiming he is the ‘best player this season’.
