Lots of Liverpool fans have been reacting to comments made by Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba after he made an admission.
The Manchester United midfielder, who has been out for the majority of the current campaign due to undergoing ankle surgery, has had to sit by and watch as the Red Devils’ hated neighbours edge closer to their first title in 30 years. This comes after the Reds came from 2-1 down to beat West Ham 3-2 in what was a hard-fought victory at Anfield, maintaining their 22-point lead at the summit clear of Manchester City.
Speaking with ESPN, Pogba said that he did not want Jurgen Klopp’s side to win the league, but admitted that they deserve to be there and already have one hand on the long-awaited trophy that has been missing from the Anfield trophy cabinet. With this in mind, supporters appreciated the words of a rival and made their feelings clear on social media.
