Liverpool: Fans react to Reds cancelling warm-weather training camp

Liverpool fans have been reacting to the news that the Reds have cancelled their warm-weather training camp in February, according to the Evening Standard.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will be given a well-deserved break as they sit 14 points clear at the top of the Premier League ahead of Manchester City, as they continue their pursuit for their first league title in 30 years. Due to the introduction of the Premier League’s mid-season break, the Reds will have two weeks off following their game against Southampton on February 1st.

Rather than take his players to sunnier climates during that period, the Evening Standard revealed that the German tactician has opted to give his players a week-long break as a reward for their efforts so far during the current campaign. The only exception to this would be if Liverpool are forced to play an FA Cup fourth-round replay against Shrewsbury Town, which would take place on February 5th.
