Liverpool fans have been reacting to Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas’ comments after he predicted that the Reds would lose to Wolves later today.
The Reds go into the clash with a 13-point lead at the top of the Premier League ahead of Manchester City with two games in hand. It would be Jurgen Klopp’s side’s first defeat of the season if they were to fall to Wolves at the Molineux, having only dropped points against Manchester United during the current campaign. Still, Nicholas, who is a pundit for Sky Sports, feels that the hosts will win the tie and feels that a factor during Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Manchester United explains it.

The former Arsenal forward told Sky Sports that the Reds looked tired on Sunday, meaning that this could be the reason why the Wanderers will have the edge and inflict a blow on their title charge. Liverpool comfortably beat Thursday’s opposition in the same fixture last season 2-0, with goals from Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk either side of half time.
