Daniel Sturridge has been released by Trabzonspor via mutual consent. The future surrounding the ex-Liverpool striker is a hot topic on social media, with many wondering where and when he will find a new club.
Trabzonspor released an official statement earlier today that the Brit will be departing after just six months (via BBC Sport). During his short spell with the Turkish side, he tallied seven goals and four assists in 16 appearances. Sturridge is now without a club, with a move back to the Premier League off the cards until the summer.
Rumours of a transfer to the MLS are circulating after a Turkish outlet reported that he is in talks with David Beckham’s Inter Miami (via Goal).
