A recent player update has revealed it’s unlikely second-string goalkeeper Adrian will be leaving the club this summer.
According to the Liverpool ECHO’s Paul Gorst, the Spaniard’s errors in goal this season will not lead to a future away from Anfield (relayed via @LFCTransferRoom).

Adrian was at fault for several major mistakes across the season, including blunders that cost the Reds their place in both the FA Cup and Champions League. Needless to say, a lot of Kopites were furious with his performances during Alisson’s absence, with some calling for him to be dropped and even to be moved on.
In a similar fashion, fans have responded to this update and aren’t happy knowing Adrian will likely be Liverpool’s No.2 next season. One supporter seems to be in denial over the news and has tweeted ‘I’m gonna pretend that I didn’t see this’.

Personally, I think this is a mistake. Kelleher won’t develop if he doesn’t get games.
As solid as Adrian was in those earlier league games, he’s made more errors in 1 season than some keepers make in a career. I’d rather a kid was making them and learning from it

Mistakes have ratings now? He was good for us in the league, but he single handedly gave atlectico the win at Anfield and still didn’t own up. And even said they deserved to go through. Has to play better especially his positioning sense.
