As harsh as it sounds, when Simon Mignolet was dropped from the Liverpool side earlier this season many Reds fans here in the Transfer Tavern rejoiced.
The Belgian was replaced by new signing Loris Karius as the German recovered from an injury and many felt it was none too soon to see him dropped to the bench.
A good shot-stopper, it has to be said, but the former Sunderland man has struggled a fair amount during his Liverpool career, particularly with aerial crosses and making silly mistakes.
You’d think, then, that he’d be pretty down about things but instead he looks ready to try and win his place back with this upload on his Twitter account via @SMignolet:

He seems to be doing all he can to win that spot back but whether he actually does or not is ultimately up to Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool host West Brom this weekend and it’s expected that Karius will once again start between the sticks.
