Liverpool are certainly enjoying life in the Premier League this season as they sit at the top of the table with a six-point gap.
Alberto Moreno has rarely featured for the Reds this season, with Andy Robertson preferred to the Spaniard, however, it appears the Anfield outfit are keen to keep him at the club.
“Liverpool has proposed renewing me but no agreement has been reached, in January the market opens and we will see.
“To this day we have nothing closed neither with Liverpool nor with other clubs.”
Moreno arrived at Anfield in the summer of 2014 as one of Brendan Rodgers’ signings from Sevilla for a fee thought to be around £16.2million, per Transfermarkt.
The Verdict:

Moreno’s career has clearly stalled at Liverpool, especially with the emergence of Robertson in recent campaigns.
The 26-year-old has found it difficult to get match time and when he does, he has made a number of high-profile errors at times – something the Reds cannot afford to happen with the current position that they are in.
It remains to be seen if the Spaniard will accept a new deal, or look to go elsewhere, whilst it may not be wrong to have an assumption of the Premier League side trying to tie Moreno to a new contract so they do not lose him on a free transfer in the summer.
