Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are certainly eager to see their side sign some players in the summer transfer window when it opens for business.
The Reds have had a fairly decent season so far, of course, but that will all count for nothing if they cannot finish in the top four at the end of the campaign.
That, of course, is easier said than done but whilst we wait to see if they can do it, more immediate engagements set to be on the way with The Daily Mail reporting that the club will be scouting Marvin Johnson tomorrow.
The Oxford United winger has been in good form this season down in League 1 and has put in performances to suggest that he could be a decent player at a higher level.
Of course, there is a risk with signing players from lower down in the league system but that is why the club appear set to run the rule over him ahead of any potential move.
