The Leeds fans in the Transfer Tavern have been enjoying watching Marcelo Bielsa’s new training regime put the players through their paces. The Argentine has obviously placed a lot of emphasis on fitness ahead of the new season and the fans absolutely love it.

The upcoming season for the Leeds fans is a huge one. The Whites have faith that they can end what will be a 15-year spell outside the top-flight at the end of this season and it will be a sweet moment if they can finally return to the promised land of the Premier League. If they do manage to go up this season, Marcelo Bielsa will be the man they can thank for it, with his appointment being a huge statement of intent for the club.
Bielsa will be asked with whipping the squad into shape this summer and chopping and changing the players until he has what he wants. The fans will be expecting signings to be made in the coming weeks and it will be one of the clubs most interesting preseasons of recent memory as the fans will be carefully evaluating the way the squad play and checking out whether or not they think they can be title contenders.

Certainly looks like Marcelo is looking for greater fitness from the players. He must have been impressed by our fast pace and attacking start at the beginning of last season.
