Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for the start of next season with their club confirmed as being back in the Premier League for 2017/18.
It’s been a tough season in the Championship this year with the Magpies being the side many people have wanted to beat but Rafa Benitez’s men are going into the final weekend with the chance of winning the title ahead of Brighton.
Whatever happens, though, the club will surely look to sign players in the summer window to strengthen their survival chances whilst the future of striker Adam Armstrong remains to be resolved.
The forward has been on loan at Barnsley this season and won their Goal of the Season award – something he was naturally happy about.
Indeed, Newcastle fans were also impressed and so they also reacted – the best of which is just below:
