Man Utd take defiant stance ahead of Chelsea clash

The punters in the Football Transfer Tavern are hoping that this won’t lead to a delayed kick-off…

Man Utd have received some harsh criticism in the Tavern as of late, after a number of game-day issues stemmed from late arrivals to Premier League fixtures.

London games appear to be a bit of a problem for the Manchester-based side, with late arrivals and incidents before games at both West Ham and Tottenham delaying both highly anticipated fixtures.

You would think that after 2 separate incidents that Man Utd would change something; but it would appear that they are sticking to their guns.

According to the Daily Mail, United have insisted that they will not be changing their travel plans ahead of the game, after both other incidents were deemed out of their control.

Our landlord just cannot understand this.

Surely if you’ve struggled to make it to 2 London-based games already, it makes sense to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.

Evidently not, so the punters in the Football Transfer Tavern will seemingly have to prepare themselves for yet another late kick-off…

The Chelsea vs Man Utd game is set for Sunday afternoon, and it is always one of the fiercest fixtures of the Premier League calendar.

With Jose Mourinho now on the opposite side of the dugout, however, the game has received an extra dose of significance.

We’re expecting a full house in the Football Transfer Tavern.
