Metro have Arsenal fans looking up fuming here in the Football Transfer Tavern after they seem to think that the Gunners will have to face Manchester City coming after yet another one of their players.
This time the man in question is Jack Wilshere, who while being a sicknote is still a top quality player and more to the point, someone who has been with the Gunners for a long time – and who seems to be Arsenal through and through.
As one of our punters notes, no matter if City make a bid or not, the fact of the matter is Arsenal should stand up to this and simply refuse to sell Wilshere.
City are eager to add another home grown player to their squad – and they have identified Wilshere as the man for that.
