According to a report by reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City are now 'planning to open talks' for wantaway Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane and are 'seriously interested' in the striker.
Sky Sports first broke the news that Kane has reiterated a desire to leave north London this summer, and the outlet also claim that City are one of the interested parties alongside Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea.
Kane's desire to win 'team trophies' is well known, and City are on the look out for a striker to succeed club legend Sergio Aguero who is leaving at the end of this season.
The Englishman has bagged an incredible 22 goals and 13 assists in 34 Premier League starts this campaign (WhoScored) - with the attacker netting a further five goals in other competitions (WhoScored).
Romano, sharing news on Kane's future, now claims that the Sky Blues are 'seriously interested' and are 'planning to open talks' for the 27-year-old.
It is also said that the superstar would refuse a new deal at Tottenham and his stance on leaving Spurs is 'confirmed'.
