Manchester United: Some fans are already calling for Pochettino to replace Solskjaer

Manchester United nearly snatched all three points despite being 2-0 down at high-flying Sheffield United on Sunday evening. A last-minute equaliser from the home side stopped Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team leaving with a victory, but it seems United fans haven’t forgotten the mess they landed themselves in before the Rashford-inspired comeback.

Sheffield United deserved at least a point after having 12 shots to United’s 11 (via WhoScored), but a share of the spoils isn’t good enough for Solskjaer who is under pressure to get results, particularly after Mauricio Pochettino’s sacking at Tottenham. They’ve won just two of their last five Premier League games and have Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham and Manchester City in the next three games.

United fans didn’t have any sympathy for their club legend in the hot seat after the team’s official Twitter account posted the 3-3 final score. Some of those that replied were even calling for Solskjaer to be sacked and for him to be replaced by Pochettino.
