Manchester United: Fans fume at Zinedine Zidane following his quotes on Paul Pogba

Manchester United fans were fuming about Zinedine Zidane’s quotes on Paul Pogba about something that occurred during the international break.

The two men met up in the United Arab Emirates during the international break as the France international recuperated from his ankle injury.

The former France international – who has won it all in the game and stands as a genuine legend – commented on his meeting with the 26-year-old, saying it was ‘by chance’, per ESPN.

Pogba was linked with a move away from the north-west club during the summer window after he said that it could be a good time to seek a ‘new challenge’.

The Spanish club were linked with a move and even had a bid of £27.6m plus James Rodriguez rejected for the player (via The Telegraph).

Due to the stop-start nature of Pogba’s season, he has featured in just six of the 11 games played in all competitions (via Transfermarkt).

Zidane’s quotes on Pogba seem to have angered the fans as they took to Twitter to react.

Zidane really enjoys unsettling players of other clubs doesn’t he. Maybe he should focus on his own club for a while, his man management is beyond a joke.
