Manchester United head into their gigantic Premier League clash against rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday fresh from a 2-0 convincing win over Chelsea in the FA Cup.
Goals from Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba saw off the Blues in a performance that would have left Ole Gunnar Solskjaer delighted.
As well as the goal-scoring duo on the night, the Stamford Bridge encounter was also one where Sergio Romero impressed.
It was a well-earned clean sheet not just for the 31-year-old, but the Manchester United defence as a whole as they restricted Chelsea to few chances in front of goal.
Bar a Gonzalo Higuain header and Pedro strike, which Romero dealt with, the west London club were completely shutout in yet another disappointing display under the increasingly under pressure Maurizio Sarri.
Nevertheless, for Romero and co, it was job well done with a trip to Wolves now awaiting them in the quarter-finals of the competition.
