The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are urging Jose Mourinho to sign a new left back because he clearly does not rate Luke Shaw.
Luke Shaw’s career is stagnating at the moment and he might be offloaded in January, leaving Manchester United with few options at left back.
Mourinho has opted to play a number of players out of position there this season, including Ashley Young, Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind.
But a new left back could be brought in this January after Man United were handed encouragement in their pursuit.
According to a report by The Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur are willing to let Danny Rose join the Red Devils if their £45m valuation is matched.
Rose is reportedly growing increasingly frustrated at Spurs, having criticised their policy of capping players’ wages and he also expressed his annoyance at being left out of the North London derby recently.
With Wales international Ben Davies at left back, Spurs are ready to let Rose go if Man United pay £45m.
Chelsea and Everton have also been alerted to this possibility and could swoop for the England international as well.
But Rose is reportedly keen on returning to the north of England, making Man United his preferred option.
