Manchester United going ‘all out’ to sign Harry Kane

Manchester United going 'all out' to sign Harry Kane - Manchester United News

Manchester United are going ‘all out’ sign to sign Tottenham and England legend Harry Kane in the summer transfer window, according to a huge new update.

The Lowdown: Kane constantly linked with move

This has been another memorable season for the 29-year-old, who has continued to strengthen his reputation as one of the greatest strikers of his generation.

Not only has Kane scored 21 goals in 28 appearances in the Premier League, but he has also broken Spurs’ all-time scoring record, going past the legendary Jimmy Greaves in the process.

There is an increasing feeling that the Englishman is not getting the very best out of his career, however, in terms of winning trophies, with the quality around him currently holding him back.

Kane has been constantly linked with a summer move to United, as Erik ten Hag looks to bring in a world-class striker who is a major upgrade on the limited Wout Weghorst.

Napoli star Victor Osimhen has also emerged as a strong contender to move to Old Trafford but a fresh update suggests that the Three Lions captain is the man they are after.

The Latest: United going ‘all out’

According to Football Insider, United are going ‘all out’ to sign Kane at the end of the season, with the club ‘willing’ to spend a huge sum of money on a new striker.

Ten Hag sees the Spurs icon as the ‘perfect number nine’ to come in and word at the Carrington training ground appears to be rife about him joining.

United will only decide to look at other options if the north Londoners are absolutely adamant that their most prized asset is going nowhere.

The Verdict: Could be a genuine game-changer

United have grown into an excellent team this season, winning the EFL Cup and still competing in both the Europa League and FA Cup, but they lack a genuinely elite striker, like Manchester City have with Erling Haaland, for example.

In Kane, the Red Devils would be signing someone who could instantly turn them into title challengers, though, having been called ‘truly world-class’ by Graeme Souness.

A tally of 271 goals for Spurs and 53 strikes for England speak for themselves and the idea of him dovetailing with Marcus Rashford is mouthwatering.

United must do all they can to acquire the £200,000-a-week-earning Kane’s signature – if they manage to get a summer deal over the line, it would have the potential to transform Ten Hahg’s team into a completely different animal.
