‘Massive downgrade’ - Arsenal fans seriously don’t want 22-year-old at the Emirates this season

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern aren’t sure how this season can get any worse…

The Gunners have seriously struggled domestically so far this term, and whilst the season is only three games old, most fans have written off this campaign entirely.

Of course, there is still more than enough time to turn things around, but there doesn’t appear to be any sign of things changing anytime soon.

The only way that the season could get any worse at this point is if the Gunners lose Alexis Sanchez, and according to the Mirror, that is exactly what could happen. Sanchez, it is said, is a huge target for Man City, and the Citizens have reportedly offered a deal of cash and Raheem Sterling to get the deal done.

Whilst news of a potential Sanchez exit is disheartening, to say the least, the prospect of Sterling joining the club has generated just as much anger.

Despite his good form this term, Sterling is seemingly not a popular figure amongst the Arsenal fans on Twitter, with fans taking to the site to blast the prospect of him moving to the Emirates.
