Matt Ingram returns to Wycombe on emergency loan

Queens Park Rangers will be desperate to secure a play-off spot in the current campaign have enjoyed a lot of success under Steve McClaren.

The Hoops will be looking to build some momentum after the international break having enjoyed a rich vein of form recently. Although, the club waved goodbye to one of their players recently, as according to Queens Park Rangers’ official website, Matt Ingram has joined Wycombe Wanderers on loan.

Matt Ingram had returned to former club Wycombe Wanderers on an emergency loan spell after the deal was sanctioned by the EFL.

The 24-year-old has made six appearances for head coach Steve McClaren so far this campaign, but he hasn’t featured since the Blackpool defeat in the EFL Cup back in late September.

So, he will be desperate to make a good, short impression in League One in the hope that he can work his way back into McClaren’s plans in the near future.

THE VERDICT:

Matt Ingram has plenty of potential and has already shown his class at Loftus Road, but he just hasn’t been able to force his way into the side on a regular basis this season.

QPR will be keen to see how he fares during his short loan spell at the club as this will give them an idea of where he is currently at.
