Spirits were high among the West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern last night as they celebrated the fact that they have jumped out of the relegation zone.
West Ham travelled to Stoke and beat them 3-0 after kick-off was delayed due to a power outage.
It completed an excellent week for the Hammers after they shocked Chelsea with a 1-0 win last Saturday, drew 0-0 with Arsenal in midweek and now picked up another win.
This moved the Hammers out of the relegation zone as things are starting to click under David Moyes.
One of the revelations since Moyes has taken over has been the upturn in Marko Arnautovic’s form.
The Austrian has been sensational recently and he was stoked up for the game against his old club with the home fans giving him plenty of stick.
Arnautovic responded with a man of the match display and a vital second goal to earn the three points for the Hammers.
