Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern have got some smiles back on their faces today and you can understand why.
It’s been a pretty underwhelming start to the season in the Championship for the Villans with them struggling to score goals and put games away.
Yesterday, though they had no such issues as they cruised past Barnsley 3-0 at Oakwell to rack up an impressive victory away from home.
For sure, there is still work to do for Villa before they can consider things fixed at the club but the signs were certainly positive out on the pitch.
Indeed, striker Jonathan Kodjia is back whilst young star Keinan Davis continued his good start to the season with a goal – something he reflected on on Twitter.
