Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern are very pleased with how things have gone recently with their club showing their class in some of the biggest games of the season.
Indeed, the Magpies underlined their title credentials with wins over Brighton and Huddersfield away from home before a trip to Reading last night yielded another point in the race for promotion.
At this stage in the season, though, the games are all big no matter who you face and so to have any sort of injury blow is going to be an issue.
Indeed, that seems to be the case for Newcastle at the moment with DeAndre Yedlin set for a spell on the sidelines with a muscle tear.
As revealed by Lee Ryder on Twitter and for Chronicle Live, the flying full-back could miss some crucial games:

Indeed, Rafa Benitez said:
“Yedlin didn’t realise he had the problem against Brighton. We protected him against Huddersfield, but he had to come on.
“But he was complaining, and you could see that maybe it would be one week or two weeks. He had a knock, maybe has a small tear.”
Last night we saw the selection change Benitez may make in light of the American’s absence with Jesus Gamez coming in and whilst he was solid enough, he doesn’t offer the same attacking threat as Yedlin.
