Newcastle fans everywhere have been trying to do everything in their power to crank up the pressure on Mike Ashley at Newcastle. A story in The Chronicle claims that the Sports Direct owner is trying to get the word out that he wants to sell and has lowered his asking price by £80 million, but the fans aren’t buying it and are keen to keep up their pressure on him.

The Magpies have been taking part in organised protests against Mike Ashley, Sports Direct and their club as they aim to free themselves from the stranglehold that Ashley has had them in for eleven years. This isn’t the first time that Ashley has claimed to be looking to sell the club and the fans believe that he’s putting up a smokescreen to try and prevent more protests from the supporters.
If this is the case, The Geordies aren’t buying it and instead they’ll be keen to increase the pressure that they’re putting on Ashley until he snaps. Talks of a mass boycott have been had by the fans and it looks like there’s nothing the fans won’t do to get rid of the 54-year-old. The fans simply won’t be content until Ashley and his cronies are gone and there’s a new contract on the table for Rafa Benitez.

Again . What’s this the 5th time. Early smokescreen for not spending in January AGAIN

Why are you publishing this? You are giving kieth bishop agency the publicity they are after by posting this for them. How many times have we heard this? There is zero interest in a sale just the hope to quieten fans with some fake propaganda

The Geordies are desperate to rid themselves of Ashley and won’t stop protesting until they’re under new ownership.
