A lot of Newcastle fans have been dying to see their record signing in action ever since he was confirmed on transfer deadline day. Miguel Almiron is a player that comes with a lot of promise and the Paraguayan could be set to make his debut for the Magpies tonight as they face Wolves in a tough clash at Molineux.

On Saturday, the Geordies’ new man turned 25-years-old and the supporters have high hopes for their new creator. The ex-Atlanta United man will be the player that the Magpies will be looking to for some inspiration tonight, and if he can hit the ground running with a couple of goals and a win then there’s no doubting that it will come as a huge and timely boost for the fans.
However, Wolves are a very strong side and given their position at the moment as the ‘best of the rest’ given that they’re 7th and the first club outside of the top six, they will certainly be favourites to see off 17th place Newcastle. However, football’s a funny game, and if Almiron can get going from the start and get into Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, then who knows wat might happen.
