Newcastle fans on Twitter have their say on Rolano Aarons’ fall from grace

When Rolando Aarons first burst onto the scene at St James Park there was genuine excitement. A lot of the supporters belieed that they had theur next gem. However, just a few years later and after two unsuccessful loans with Hellas Verona and Slovan Liberec, it looks like his career at St James Park is over.

The winger is now 23, but when he first entered the fray at Newcastle as a teenage he had so much about him. The supporters genuinely believed that if anyone from their youth system was going to go on and become a star then it would simply have to be Aarons. Those thoughts on the winger, though, are now just a distant memory for the supporters.

His last game for Slovan Liberec came this weekend when he was a 90th minite substitute for the Czech club, most likely in an attempt to run down the clok. However, his late appearance took him to ten for the season for his temporary club, and it was also his last as he now returns to the Northeast of England with his heead held not very high after yet another disappointing loan spell.
