Newcastle fans on Twitter prepared to cancel season tickets in Ashley protest

Newcastle United are a huge club. The Magpies are one of the most famous clubs in England, and whilst it may be 64 years since they last won a trophy, the 1955 FA Cup, they’ve always been a big name in English football. However, a lot of fans are now preparing to cancel their season ticket’s to spite their tyrant owner, Mike Ashley.

Remember, the deadline to cancel season tickets which automatically renew for next season is the 31st January #NUFC

Newcastle fans have been desperate to step up in their efforts to rid their club of the parasite that is Ashley for years now. In his time at the club, he’s used St James Park for free advertising for Sports Direct, taken money from the club for his own pocket and failed to invest back into the club or the city to the point that the Magpies have already suffered two relegations under his toxic ownership.

There are loyal fans that have grown up living and breathing Newcastle United, yet they’re on the verge of giving up with their famous club because of Ashley. If enough fans were to make the bold move to cancel their season tickets then it would surely damage Ashley’s pockets enough to make him consider his ownership, and that will be exactly what they’ll be hoping he does, as the future of the club will always be up in the air as long as he owns it.

My advice would be for everyone to cancel. You’ll have 3 months to resign up if they decide to actually spend some money in january
