Newcastle United have suffered an abysmal start to the Premier League season. They have just two points from nine games and are already looking like dead certs for relegation. There’s little that will cheer the fans up at the moment, and seeing their club wish Jack Colback a happy birthday is certainly not one of them.

For most players, when you transfer directly between two heated rivals, at least one set of fans will like you. Not for Jack Colback, though, who made the swap from Sunderland to Newcastle back in 2014 and finds himself disliked by both The Magpies and The Black Cats. The midfielder is currently on-loan at Nottingham Forest and the fans had completely forgotten that the ‘ginger Pirlo’ was still at the club.
The fans aren’t;t best pleased with their club’s post or the timing of it for that matter. The ex-Sunderland man has never looked good in the Newcastle midfield and the fans would happily see him released or sold on a free to the next gullible club that believes he can offer something. Most fans’ reactions to their club’s post has been that of surprise and Colback will be a name that they quickly want to forget again.

The fans will be keen to forget Colack again and will hope their club refrains from tweeting about him in future.
