Newcastle United playmaker Miguel Almiron was sent off in Paraguay’s friendly with Serbia last night after receiving a second yellow card for diving.

The former Atlanta United forward hasn’t enjoyed the best start to the season so far, with the South American failing to score or produce an assist in the Premier League.
It appears as if Almiron is experiencing a tough time on the international stage, with the referee seemingly having enough of his antics and giving him his marching orders for simulation.
Former Magpie Aleksandar Mitrovic then grabbed a winner for Serbia in the last minute, clinching a 1-0 victory.
The attacker is yet to open his account for United since his signing in a record transfer deal in January, with Almiron also failing to register a single league assist in that time as well.
Indeed, for club and country, things are not going to plan for Almiron.
