Newcastle United supporters have been pretty despondent in recent times after seeing their side suffer a third Premier League defeat of the season last time round.
Rafa Benitez’s men went into their clash with champions Manchester City having picked up just one point from their opening three league matches, drawing 0-0 at Cardiff City as well as going down at home to Tottenham and Chelsea. And while the Magpies produced a spirited display at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, they were unable to win for the first time this season as goals from Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker either side of a DeAndre Yedlin equaliser sealed all three points for Pep Guardiola’s Citizens.
Thus, there have been many frustrated Newcastle fans up and down the country in recent times, several of whom are likely to be interested by the announcement that winger Rolando Aarons has left the club on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 22-year-old made the move to St James’ Park as a youth player back in 2012 but has since gone on to make just 27 senior appearances for the North East giants, with injuries playing a key part in his struggles at the club.
And having failed to feature in all of Benitez’s matchday squads this term, including their Carabao Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest, it’s clear that the former England Under-20 international is way down the pecking order at the Premier League outfit.
And Aarons has officially joined Slovan Liberec on loan for the rest of the 2018/19 season, an announcement which has stimulated quite a response from Newcastle fans on Twitter, with many criticising the club for their part to play in the 22-year-old’s demise…
